I am 27 and I have decided I want to take Fencing lessons. How difficult is it for an adult to learn the sport? And do a lot of people attempt to learn as adults?|||One of the best things about the sport of Fencing is that anyone can do it.
You can be any age, race, gender, size, mac, or pc.
That is why I love it!
At my club, we have both children's and adult beginning fencing classes.
They are always full.

We take kids as young as 7 and there is no age limit!
We have a fencer, whom most people know simply as Maestro, he still teaches and fences at our club. He's in his late 70's!
Fencing is such a fun sport! Go for it!
