How do I get ready for my Fencing Tournament?

I have a fencing tournament coming up in about 5 months i figured this would be the perfect time to start some training. My fencing class is once a week but its not enough to get me ready. I am quick with my parries and reposts but my lungs are not as long as I would like them to be. Also I have weak knees is there any way I can strenthen them? Thank you in advance for the advice :)|||Wax your little fencing pole at least twice a day.
