I am a new fencer and I want to know what website is best for buying new equipment and I guess buying gear in general. I dont know a lot about fencing but need gear. If they are helpful in choosing gear, i.e. easy to use website, that would be a huge plus.|||internet|||The vendor I use for nearly all of my personal and club purchases is Absolute Fencing Gear: absolutefencinggear.com. Overall, they have the best price-to-quality ratio for entry level gear. You can find cheaper equipment out there but the quality is generally poor. No sense saving a few bucks now when you'll just have to replace the stuff sooner!
The second vendor I turn to is shop.fencing.net. Both AF and FDN have excellent customer service and are very good about helping you select what's appropriate.
