What kind of electric fencing for our beagles at our new house?

We have a fairly small yard at our new house. we electric fencing for our two beagles....we're trying to decide between the kind that ou have to bury a wire for or the wireless one. the wireless one is more expensive but it doesn't have exact boundaries. does anyone have experience with either? has anyone installed the kind with the wire buried??? is it hard to install???|||Its easy unless you have a drive way to cross.|||Just remember that it might keep your little ones in but it won't keep some nasty a** attack dog out. Personally I would never let my little one out alone without a real fence.

Also in case you don't know this: BEAGLES DIG!!!!

good luck

Many, many years ago I had a shepard/hound who could escape any yard and a cute little beagle who could dig to China. I had to put up a 6 foot fence and dig down a foot to lay chicken wire below the surface so he couldn't get under the fence. What you have to do for your babies!!!|||We had a small fenced in yard that was only board fence so we put up chicken wire and buried into the ground a little - however I have a beagle who likes to dig and a german shepard that likes to jump so we ended up installing the electric fence around the perimeter of the yard. It wasn't too hard to install and we actually only buried one of the wires as we just stapled it to the top of the existing fence. Out of the three years we had it the only time they got out was if the battery went dead on the collar and we didn't realize it. I would recommend installing the electric fence but depending on your dogs they might go through it anyway without another boundary to keep them in.
