Looking around at colleges and I'm trying to decide which one has a better fencing team, or at least has one. Thanks.|||Penn State won 2007 NCAA National Fencing Championship and St. Johns was the runner up. In fact Penn State leads colleges in Fencing national championships 10 in all.
Notre Dame has fencing team , Duke, and of course you have the IVY League colleges. Ohio State won the national championships in 2004 and I read an article in SI about how well funded their athletic program in regards to how non revenue sports like fencing manage to get funded.
For a complete list of who has fencing teams take a look at the NCAA list. If your serious you definitely want a University that offers this as a D-1 sport as opposed to a club sport.|||Florida State
