Minimize the amount of fencing to close in a field of carrots?

Fence in a rectangular pasture to keep out rabbits where carrots are grown. The field is along a straight stream that doesn't need to be fenced. You need 900,000 square meters of pasture. What should be the dimension of the pasture that will minimize the amount of fencing?|||First you need to get all of the factors of 900,000 and group them into the pairs that equal 900,000

Then add times each number by 2 and add them together

See which is the smallest one and then that is the smallest amount of fencing.

Factors of 900,000

Logically though the smallest number pair would be the factors that are the closest together.

E.g. Factors of 10

= 1,10

=2,5

1*2+10*2=22

2*2+5*2=14

So find the factor pair that is the closest together and then you have an answer
