How do you wash your fencing jacket without messing up the blue lettering on the back?
I haven't washed my fencing jacket since I got my name put on the back.... Does anyone know how I could wash it without smudging the lettering on the back and getting it all over the white?|||If you had your stenciling done professionally, you can wash it normally with no bleach (which I wouldn't use on a fencing jacket anyway)--whoever does the stands at tournaments is pretty good, and the uhlmann factory is good. I'll usually do a rinse and hang-dry after most practices just to save a little wear. My name hasn't come off my jacket (though it did fade a little), and I've machine washed it at least thirty times.|||take it to the dry cleaners i would hope whoever put the letters on it used letters that had their dye set at the factory, if not they will always run all over the white..the only time dye can be set in fabric is at the manufactoring end....
